Pay

  • This Lead Service Plumber position comes with acompetitive wageof$23 - $30/hour, depending on experience


Work WeekSchedule

  • Typical workweek is eight (8) hour workdays five (5) days per week with on-call weekend work on a rotating basis
  • During peak times and seasonal extreme weather-related events, the position may require longer hours with overtime paid as applicable

Responsibilities

  • Work on a variety of makes and models of plumbing equipment including installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair
  • Use of tools and equipment used in the repair of plumbing equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings
  • Adhere to current rules and regulations related to plumbing so that systems pass inspection as needed
  • Perform daily work duties associated with the trade with minimal supervision in the field
  • Maintain accurate and complete invoices, paperwork, and other procedures to company standards
  • Maintain the highest safety standards while working on the job
  • Maintain the highest standards of customer service and professionalism while working on the job
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job requirements

  • 3 years of experience as a Plumber
  • Valid Kansas or Missouri Drivers license and a clean driving record
  • Ability to explain technical information to clients at a level they understand
  • Compliant with the safety regulations
  • Ability to work independently
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background check, and drug screen
  • Can sit, walk, bend, and lift for prolonged periods of time
  • Must have a full range of body movements including the use of hands feet and fingers to handle or feel objects and must be capable of bending, reaching, crouching, climbing, and crawling
  • Able to handle or feel objects and use tools and equipment and must be capable of bending, reaching, crouching, climbing, and crawling
  • Must have command of all five senses (sight, hearing, touch, smell, and taste)
  • Must haveVision abilities required including close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus
  • Must be able to lift 75 pounds
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Comfortable with working outdoors/indoors in various climate conditions ranging from very cold with rain to very hot and humid. This includes ditches, excavation sites, and confined locations.This may include working in confined spaces, such as rooftops, attics, and crawl spaces
