Electrical Engineer

Homewood, IL

Our client is hiring an Electrical Engineer

Apply your electrical controls engineering background to assist our client with building automation for the foods and warehousing industries

Responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer

  • Use Eplan or AutoCAD electrical to design new electrical controls for the use in automation.
  • Program Automation Direct, Omron or Allen-Bradley PLCs along with HMI such as Wonderware or other platforms.
  • Develop automated vision systems for high-speed automation by working with suppliers.
  • Manage machine build projects and identify opportunities for improvements such as integrating Fanuc, Motoman or Cloos robots.

Requirements of the Electrical Engineer

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or technical equivalent along with at least 2 years of experience
  • Excellent benefits including health insurance and career growth potential

Compensation for the Electrical Engineer

The targeted annual starting salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $110,000 per year depending on experience.
