Leasing Specialist

Position: Leasing Specialist for The Bluestone – Bluffton, SC

Role Overview

As a Leasing Specialist for The Bluestone, you will work at a fast pace to lease apartment homes in a very competitive market. In addition, you will deliver after-sales service to meet the ongoing needs of existing residents. This community features 360 apartment-homes and the office side is 4 Team Members.

Most Important Responsibilities

• Lease as many apartments as possible for this beautiful community in a great market.
• Follow up on leads to convert traffic/prospects into new resdients.
• Think of creative ways to generate more leads.
• Provide exceptional customer service to our current residents.
• Understand and articulate the features of this community and the benefits to living there.
• Build and manage relationship with coworkers, prospects, current residents, local businesses, vendors, etc.
• Collaborate with your team. Understand the unique needs of prospects and residents to determine the best solution.

Most Important Qualifications

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
• 1 year Leasing exp a plus
• Must be willing to work rotating Saturdays - still enjoy 40 hours per week.
• 2 years of sales exp. Ability to sell in a competitive market.
• Self-motivation and drive. Quick on your feet with a strong work ethic.
• Resilience and tenacity. Rejection is a very real part of the job, however you can’t get discouraged.
• People skills. Ability to have conversations with prospects and listen to their real needs, so you can build rapport and trust.
• Charisma. Must be likeable to prospects and residents.
• Empathy. Relating to the customers and supporting them.
• Confidence. Never let go of opportunities and stay positive.
