Position Summary: The Enterprise Scheduler is responsible for overseeing and managing the scheduling and coordination of projects and resources to ensure on-time delivery. The Enterprise Scheduler collaborates with cross-functional teams to manage the enterprise schedule, gather scheduling requirements, resolve scheduling conflicts, forecast resource demand, optimize resource allocation, and adjusts plans as necessary to ensure on-time delivery.


Internal Essential Duties and Responsibilities – Within SSE (other duties may be assigned):

· Drive the enterprise scheduling process, foster interdepartmental communication, and ensure on-time delivery of projects.

· Maintain rolling six-month enterprise schedule, including contracted projects and high probability opportunities from the company CRM

· Attend project kickoff meetings, participate in macro board pull planning sessions, capture scheduled tasks, analyze capacity, make recommendations to optimize resource loading and establish project baselines.

· Attend morning report outs and periodic project update meetings to capture project schedule changes, monitor progress relative to baseline, analyze impact to enterprise schedule, and alert team of delivery and/or capacity discrepancies, constraints, and concerns.

· Meet with manufacturing project managers weekly to update build progress, level shop capacity loading, drive future demand forecasting, and prepare for following week sales & operations planning (S&OP) meeting.

· Drive schedule and associated reports in weekly enterprise S&OP meetings to facilitate interdepartmental capacity planning and communication, gather and update project progress information, optimize resource loading, and develop post meeting team actions and owners

· Capture and distribute major updates and actions from the weekly S&OP including new project and/or major change orders introductions, design approvals, builds moved to optimize capacity, progress of builds underway, along with a two-week lookahead of upcoming milestones including required approvals and build starts and completions.

· Periodically work with client PM's to produce and update client project schedules tied to the enterprise schedule.

· Develop necessary templates and tools to effectively capture and communicate schedule data, track progress relative to baseline, drive interdepartmental communication, actions and decision making, and facilitate review, forecasting, and optimization of resource loading.

· Utilize MS Project online and publish weekly schedule updates for user reference. Train team on access and utilization.

· Provide scheduling support for LEAN principles and projects within all departments.

· With support from the LEAN Leader, develop Standard Work for role.

· Incorporate Single Piece Flow principles into schedules to meet on time delivery and improve capacity.


Knowledge and Skills:

  • Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Project and/or Primavera P6 skills.
  • Expert level Microsoft O365 skills, including management and administration of Sharepoint, Project Plan 3/5, and associated applications and programs.
  • Must possess critical thinking skills with a demonstrated ability to analyze complex datasets and develop solutions to optimize outcomes
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities including attention to detail, follow-up, thoroughness, and ability to drive action
  • Advanced ability to evaluate project progress and facilitate interventions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in project management, construction management, or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of three years' project scheduling experience in a related industry
  • Extensive experience in schedule planning and management.
  • Project Management (PMP or equivalent) or scheduling professional (PMI-SP) certification(s) a plus

Expected Hours of Work/Travel: This is a full-time position requiring office work in the Winston Salem and Kernersville offices, during regular business hours. Days and hours of work are dictated by the nature of the projects, which can include long hours and weekend work.
