POSITION DESCRIPTION:
King Technologies is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to provide advanced systems administration support to the NSWC Indian Head Division. This position is contingent upon award of the contract to King Technologies, Inc.
As the System Administrator you will
- Manage multi-user computer environment/local area network installing and configuring system hardware and software (Linux, Windows, SQL, etc.)
- Manage and upgrade software; and backup/recovery tasks.
- Manage the analyzing of system logs and identifying potential issues with computer systems.
- Implement process development and refinement.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Formulate and enforce work standards, assign project schedules, review work, and communicate policies and organization goals and objectives to all project personnel.
- Experience in CSWF problem solving, Project milestone development, management and reporting.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- DoD Top Secret Security Clearance
- DoD 8570.01-M Baseline IT Level and IAT Level II certification
- 10 years of experience working in an environment that requires SWSF/DCWF certification
- Microsoft Office Suites
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Due to the nature of work performed, a U.S. citizenship and Department of Defense (DOD) security clearance is required. Applicants selected must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance and meet verification and eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
