What matters mostTo excel in the role of a custodian at Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board, candidates should possess a minimum of one (1) year of experience in building or residential janitorial maintenance. Familiarity with industry best practices and an understanding of proper cleaning techniques are essential to ensure the sanitation and cleanliness of our facilities. Additionally, a valid VA Driver's License is necessary for transportation between various CSB locations as needed. Strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to tasks are also critical for success in this position. Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- At least one (1) year experience in building or residential janitorial maintenance. Valid VA Driver's License.
