  • Review pack request at start of shift to understand days packing plan.
  • Test equipment to confirm proper connectivity before start of pack day.
  • Meet with line leads and supervisory staff to discuss how order sequence will be handled.
  • Ensure grower boxes are accounted for accurately during lot/variety changes.
  • Each lot/variety/commodity change requires counting of grower boxes.
  • Keep track of where lots start and end so that the count is accurate.
  • Verify packing standards are being met.
  • Correct style, grade, box size.
  • Ensure the PLU is correct and that the product inside the box matches markings on the boxes.
  • Mark and confirm that correct pallets/product is loaded onto correct trucks.
  • Print transfer receipts and ensure this is provided to the driver on all outbound loads.
  • Ensuring pictures are being captured and transferred into the company's database used for storing packing/tagging information.
  • Confirm counts are correct for each grower before consolidating tags.
  • Always keep work area and stations clean.
Requirements:

  • Tagwriting experience highly preferred but not required.
  • Fluency in English required, second language a plus.
  • Proficient in data tagging tools.
  • Knowledge in Famous preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read and write detailed instructions and correspondence or instructions.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team to meet productivity standards.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and requirements.
  • Positive attitude and team player mentality.
  • Mathematical Skills & Reasoning Ability
