Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSummaryResponsible for various types of weld preparation, welding, and weld finishing operations to manufacture product to customer drawings, specifications, or other forms of instruction.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible mannerProficient in MIG/TIG welding techniquesInterpretation of mechanical drawings, including weld requirement symbiologyKnowledge of wire and filler material applications for various steel types and aluminum. Working knowledge of fixturing and weld set up parameters (amps, volts, etc.)Proficient in the use of conventional and precision measuring instrumentsProcess inspection, certification, and documentationWelding equipment maintenanceFinish grinding applications using manual and power toolsSafety and HousekeepingOther duties as assigned by the area supervisor
