Job DescriptionJob Description

RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking a Registered Dietitian for 10-12 hrs/week in the area


Schedule: Flexible, Monday-Friday during normal business hours with three 4 hr visits per week.


Compensation: $30.00-$38.00 per hour, based on experience.


Commute Compensation: Paid at your hourly rate for travel time to and from the facility.


At least 1 year of clinical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Completes nutritional assessment and follow ups, using evidence-based practice, according to the facility's policy.
  • Nutrition education focused intervention focusing on general nutrition and some weight loss/gain.
  • Informs nursing and physician of changes in a patient's nutritional status.
  • Document assessments of patients with nutritional goals and interventions in the medical record.
  • Provide education to the patients and/or family members on nutritional needs as indicated.
  • Attend interdisciplinary meetings as assigned.
  • Adhere to all facility’s policies and procedures including confidentiality and patient’s rights.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements: Candidates must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration

  • Experience providing general nutrition interventions (i.e. weight loss, weight gain, food intolerances, etc.)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with electronic charting systems

RD Nutrition Consultants, LLC is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist Consulting firm that provides Dietitians to health care facilities throughout the United States. Our consultants enjoy competitive wages and flexible work schedules.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 12 per week
