Intensive Care (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN)

Position: Intensive Care (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Burbank, California
Experience: Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience

Job Type: Permanent
Base Salary - USD $100,058 to $151,107

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Intensive Care (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Burbank, California. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of acute care hospital experience and be committed to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

- Provide direct patient care in the ICU setting, including monitoring and assessing patients, administering medications, and managing life support equipment.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and post-care instructions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in ICU nursing.

Requirements:

- Active California RN license (upon hire)
- Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience in an ICU setting
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (upon hire)
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (upon hire)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
