Are you organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about event planning? We are looking for a creative and dedicated Assistant Event Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the Event Manager in organizing and coordinating a variety of events, ensuring every detail is executed to perfection.

Job Summary

As an Assistant Event Manager, you will assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of events. You will work closely with clients, vendors, and our internal team to ensure each event runs smoothly and meets our high standards of excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in understanding the requirements and details of each event
  • Support in meeting with clients to understand their needs and wants
  • Help in hiring, training, and overseeing event personnel
  • Assist in evaluating personnel and providing performance reports
  • Aid in managing all event operations, ensuring they stay within budget
  • Monitor event activities to ensure they run smoothly
  • Offer solutions to resolve problems promptly and effectively
  • Assist in evaluating the success of events and submitting detailed reports
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
  • Degree in hospitality management, public relations, or a relevant field is preferred, but not required
  • Previous experience in event planning or coordination is a plus
