We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to lead our projects in Pasadena, TX. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both structural and civil design, with expertise in project management and client interaction. Join our team to work on diverse projects including municipal infrastructure, TxDOT, utilities, drainage, and land development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Manage and oversee structural and civil engineering projects from inception to completion.
  • Design and Drafting: Develop detailed civil and structural construction drawings for steel, wood, and concrete structures, foundations, roadways, and land development.
  • Client Interaction: Represent the company at project meetings, effectively communicating with clients and stakeholders.
  • Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with Architecture, Engineering, and Surveying departments to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Cost and Time Estimation: Prepare accurate cost and time estimates, proposals, and bid documents.
  • Compliance and Reviews: Review contractor pay applications, change orders, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Technical Analysis: Perform structural and civil analysis and produce comprehensive reports as required.



Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
  • Licensure: Current Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in structural and civil design, including municipal, TxDOT, infrastructure, utilities, drainage, and land development.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Civil 3D, Staad Pro, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Projects.
  • Codes and Standards: Working knowledge of current codes and standards; experience with City of Houston regulations is a plus.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills, including the ability to produce cost/time estimates and manage project documentation.
