Key Job Responsibilities:
- Leads identifying, analyzing and trending organizational learning needs; uses findings to identify, design, develop, implement, and evaluate programs to meet objectives to close skill gaps or build capabilities in alignment with business priorities.
- Collaborates across the organization to develop business acumen and uses expert consulting skills and subject-matter expertise to act as a learning advisor to department leaders helping them align development efforts to their departmental short and long-term strategies and needs.
- Responsible for end-to-end solution and program ownership, often in large and complex efforts.
- Leads the development of learning and development projects plans or programs, team processes and work standards; may coordinate, direct or lead project activities or teams.
- Leverages a variety of methodologies, blended learning approaches, and learning design best practices with an emphasis on real-world application relevant for adult learners in client's technology business environment to advance the workforce.
- Leads the identification, management, and evaluation of vendor partners.
- Participates in contract negotiation and statement of work development to ensure effort goals will be met.
- Leads the development and implementation of creative communication and marketing plans for learning programs and solutions.
- Epitomizes learning mindset to stay current on talent development trends and best practices; collaborates and leads implementation of appropriate change and continuous evolution.
- Coach others to develop and achieve their highest potential.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 4 plus years of related experience
- Knowledge of learning theory, instructional design, adult learning principles, and modern talent development practices
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience preparing training and development programs, presenting effectively to a variety of audiences, and summarizing recommendations and insights to team and business leaders
- Strong influencing and consulting skills; organizes and expresses ideas clearly, positions thoughts effectively, and inspires support of shared projects and outcomes
- Self-starter who has ability to work independently, collaboratively and virtually in a flexible, communicative manner
- Customer service and results oriented with ability to set and manage multiple priorities using strong project and stakeholder management skills
- Experience identifying, implementing and managing third-party vendor partners
- Experience facilitating meetings, training needs assessments, learning experiences
- Exemplifies professional behavior and establishes credibility as a talent development professional
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills; uses broad expertise, knowledge, and skills to manage a wide range of complex issues in ways that support business and talent development priorities

Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or Development, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Organization Development, Instructional Design, Training and Development, or related field
- Experience working for a global company and a partially remote workforce
- Experience working in Information Technology or other technical function
- Experience working in a talent management or learning management system
- Experience with Storyline 360, Captivate, or similar authoring tool preferred

Additional Locations available to Candidate:
- This candidate will be required to be local to the St. Louis, or immediate surrounding area, and able to come on site in a semi-regular capacity (this is a hybrid position).
