Job DescriptionJob DescriptionHire Direct is seeking an experienced, motivated Mixer/Batcher to join an established, growing company in Ogden, Utah. As a Mixer/Batcher, you will keep the warehouse organized and ensure merchandise within the warehouse is properly boxed and stored goods are in their designated location.

Work Schedule: 12 Hour Workday. Rotating Work Schedule. Day Shift, Night Shift, Monday- Friday
Hourly Wage: $21.00/hourly
Responsibilities:
- Monitor packing line equipment such as straw applicators, shrink wrappers, case sealers, palletizers, and bar & date coding machines.
- Ensure all supplies (straws, glue, etc.) are stocked and refilled for production.
- Manually load trays of finished products onto pallets and prepare stock for a palletizing procedure.
- Check conveyors before production to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
- Inspect operating equipment to identify and resolve obstructions to resume operations.
- Alert the mechanic if equipment malfunctions and work with them to correct the problem.
- Maintain all equipment and work areas in a clean and sanitary condition by following proper cleaning procedures.
- Perform work safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all paperwork is filled out accurately, including start-up and cleaning checklist, downtime sheets, and quality check sheets.
- Compliance with the Company's Integrated Management Systems which includes, but is not limited to Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMP.
- Compliance with all rules & policies regarding health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, legal regulations, company requirements, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a machine operator in a food manufacturing or product manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to operate Forklift and Pallet Jack in a safe work environment.
- Ability to work in cold and hot environments (approximately 38F-80F degrees)
- Good knowledge of HACCP is a plus.
- Highschool, GED, or equivalent diploma required.
