Job Responsibilities:

  • Saw cut and remove asphalt, compact base, and tack coat sawed edges. Spread, shovel, and tamp to grade asphalt and base course.
  • Direct trucks to deposit material into designated area
  • Assist supervisor in measuring patches, streets, and lots
  • Traffic Control as needed
  • Assist in job site clean up
  • May occasionally be assigned to other responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate timecards and paperwork
  • Follow safety guidelines and company policies

Skills and Qualifications

  • No experience necessary
  • Valid Driver’s license required
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Able to work overtime – expectation of 40+ hours, including some weekends as required
  • Some heavy lifting - minimum of 50lbs
