Responsibilities:

Responsible for converting concept site designs into working documents using AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Performs non‐routine and complex assignments from verbal instructions and under minimal supervision. Works closely with Project Managers and Civil Engineers on a daily basis. Reviews CAD drawings to ensure adherence to established specifications and standards. Demonstrates ability to update and improve existing CAD standards.

Requirements:

  • AutoCAD knowledge (Plan & Profile, Site Grading and Pipe Networks)
  • Civil/ mechanical drafting skills
  • AutoCAD Civil3D experience
  • GIS and/or Microstation experience a plus
  • Ability to generate and complete readable, clear, and well‐organized drawings, plans and details from design calculations, sketches and notations following drafting standards
  • Good working knowledge of construction documents including plan and profile work for site and utility projects
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects concurrently and maintain flexibility for changes in work assignments as project changes occur
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Detail and quality oriented, able to multitask, prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Bilingual, strong written and verbal communication
  • Self‐driven, analytical, able to follow directions and contribute to the team

Experience:

  • Drafting: minimum 5 years
