The Rehabilitation Services Office Coordinator provides day-to-day office, clinic and executive administration support and supervision. The position facilitates the needs of multiple functions and requires a person who is adaptable and resourceful with very strong organizational skills, while exhibiting excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities:
General office administration includes answering phone and directing calls, providing excellent customer service by greeting patients with a smile, and overseeing maintenance of office equipment as well as general office maintenance and organization.
Access email frequently and attend to email communications promptly as if it was a phone call.
Collaborate to generate and maintain a useful and comprehensive Policies and Procedures Manual detailing all administrative responsibilities and roles for RVNAhealth Rehabilitative and Wellness Center.
Confidentiality is a vital component of this employees job function. Office Administrator/Supervisors are exposed to sensitive financial, operational and even medical information, and have fiduciary duty to keep this information private during and after their employment.
Participate in total quality improvement process for RVNAhealth and self, including mandatory meetings. Accept and utilize supervision constructively in order to enhance the quality of RVNAhealth documentation and professional self-development.
Attend in-services and peer consultation sessions as mandated by the State of Connecticut.
A member of the Engagement Committee
Maintain fiscal responsibility when overseeing and running office budget.
Knowledgeable of regulatory procedures including but not limited to Corporate Compliance, HIPAA and Medicare conditions of participation.
Is computer literate, Utilize EMR to its potential, able to document in EMR, entering information into computer in a timely and accurate manner. Uses electronic means of communication effectively within agency policies and practices.
Accept and utilize supervision constructively, in order to enhance the quality of agency documentation and professional self-development. Provide feedback (both positive and negative) in appropriate manner, focusing on performance improvement of RVNAhealth.
Ask for help when needed.
Demonstrate good attendance record and punctuality in accordance with HR policies.
Maintain Standard Precautions Infection control.
Establish respectful, positive working relationships with other employees and volunteers in the delivery of client services.

Qualifications:
HS Diploma or equivalent, Bachelors degree (preferred)
5+ years experience as a receptionist, customer service representative or equivalent.
Strong customer service orientation both external and internal.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Highly self-motivated and directed
Accepts constructive criticism well
Flexible and able to multi-task effectively
Strong team player
Excellent organizational skills, with strong attention to details and follow-through
Computer proficiency Microsoft Word, Excel in particular.
Knowledge of physical therapy methods with skill in casework in the outpatient setting.
Ability to confer with the patient, medical practitioners, or appropriate others to plan, implements, or assess the intervention program.
Knowledge and understanding of the principles of outpatient physical therapy
Knowledge of and understanding of outpatient Billing and procedures
Ability to establish good working relationships with other professions.
Ability to collaborate effectively with community referral sources.
Knowledge and understanding of compliance and regulatory rules
