Warehouse Clerk

Sparrow Company, an executive search and staffing firm, has an immediate opening for a General Warehouse Clerk. This is a temporary to hire opportunity. This position will be located in Torrance, CA.

Job Summary:

Responsible for assisting in a variety of warehouse duties, including "Etching" and organizing of daily sales orders by due date and by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Handle "Etching" for product modification (MOD) as need it to improve order fill rates.
• Manually separate Customer's orders to include Basket Content Sheet by PO, Due Date (MF-675)
• Monitor incoming goods transferred for put-away via QAD to insure quantities, part #'s are correct.
• Performs Location to Location transactions via QAD from off-site locations.
• Maintains Productivity Matrix by picker via excel, in a daily basis.
• Works closely with Supervisor and dept. lead accordingly.
• Performs other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, and collating.

Education/Experience:

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic experience in Data Entry in a fast paced environment.
• Previous experience as a General Assistant preferred.
