Your role as a Forklift and Production Worker - Des Moines

To excel in the role of Full Time Forklift and Production Worker in our Des Moines facility, a candidate must possess a diverse set of skills and abilities. Proficiency in operating a forklift is essential, along with the capability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. You'll need to be comfortable with frequent physical movements like walking, standing, bending, twisting, and more, showcasing your agility and stamina. Adherence to safety protocols is paramount, as you will be required to wear personal protective equipment while working. The role may also involve navigating through varying temperature zones, from cold to hot environments, for extended periods.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • Must have Forklift experience
  • Lift 50 pounds regularly
  • Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, and other active movements
  • Perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment
  • Working across temperature zones that may include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include work in environments where dust and chemicals are present
