- Inventory and maintain required TOA material in warehouse locations, to include shelf life surveillance. Conduct monthly spot inventories of 5% of total inventory
- Remove required material and equipment from warehouse locations and stage the material and equipment for scheduled inventories, spot inventories, joint inventory, issue and loading onto Government furnished trucks.
- Conduct, joint inventories, inspection, receipt, and re-stow of returned material and equipment; and receive and stow new material.
- Offload material from arriving trucks. Using a vendor-produced inventory listing, unpack, receive, inventory, and repack material.
- Note any shortages or damaged material for replenishment action. Tents and liners are to be cleaned of debris and patched where possible prior to repacking. Only Ready for Issue (RFI) material will be repacked. Boxes are not to be closed and sealed until receipts of all shortages are recorded and a 100% inventory is completed.
- Stow new material into the applicable kit/storage box.
- Conduct joint inventory, operational test, issue, receive, inspect for damage and inventory material for support of all non-CESE TOA requirements.
- Place all kit boxes and miscellaneous material and equipment returning from Training exercises and projects into the assigned warehouse or temporary locations for the type of material being stowed.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and obtain a DOD SECRET Clearance.
- Have at minimum, a high school diploma.
- Have at minimum 5 years’ experience in supply operations in a military or commercial operation within a warehouse environment.
- An understanding of Navy Supply procedures and be familiar with the NAVSUP P-485.
- Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft® 365 i.e., Word, Excel and Power Point.
- Have effective communications skills both oral and written.
- Currently Certified/licensed to operate a 6,000-pound forklift in accordance with NAVSUP P538, or be capable of successfully obtaining certification.
- Capable of prolonged periods of standing, bending, and physically moving material. Be able to lift material weighing up to 40lbs.
