Regal Professional Services has partnered with a global GMP manufacturing client to hire a Supply Chain Manager in Midlothian, Texas.


Summary

This position is responsible for strategic purchasing, the storage and dispatch of materials to production teams from the warehouse, and final delivery of products to company affiliates. The role reports to the Director of Supply Chain and has supervisory responsibilities for the purchasing, import/export, and warehouse teams.


Responsibilities

  • Create & maintain partnerships with suppliers for goods and services to optimize inventory, maintain stable inventory levels at the best price (including raw materials, packaging, herbs, and MRO items)
  • Collaborate with Planning, Marketing, and R&D teams to align & execute supply chain activities with demand from product launch to end-of life transitions.
  • Focus on cost management and customer satisfaction by driving the creation and maintenance of KPIs for the teams under direct supervision. (such as: weekly delivery counts, warehouse cycle counts, PR-to PO aging indicators, vendor scorecards & lead-time maintenance, on time delivery metrics, freight cost measures, and purchased inventory targets)
  • Strong data management skills are a must. Candidates must be able to independently build KPI tools to measure operational and financial performance.
  • Familiar with ERP and MRP systems. Oracle cloud preferred.
  • Able to identify potential problems and points of friction and work to find solutions to maximize efficiency and revenue.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple teams and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Create & document supply chain management strategies that work across departments to increase efficiency and speed.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. / B.S.) required;
  • 5-7 years of relevant post college experience in supply chain analysis / management or closely related
  • Ability to analyze technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from vendors, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, vendors, and/or groups of employees
  • Experience with Manufacturing software; Order processing systems; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Cloud & Microsoft Office preferred.
  • APICS certification preferred (CPIM & CSCP)
