REPORTS TO:

Director of License Planning

POSITION SUMMARY

The Licensing Planner is responsible for analyzing sales, providing weekly licensed selling reports, UPC reports for licensors, monthly and/ or quarterly forecast updates and accruals, as well as any other financial data requested by licensor partners.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Update weekly and monthly sales reports
  • Provide monthly and quarterly forecasts and accruals, as required by contracts
  • Provide monthly UPC reports to key licensors
  • Prepare financial reports for internal and external meetings
  • Create sales curves for licenses/ properties
  • Communicate regularly with Sales Leaders on placement and trends
  • Stay on top of content calendar dates and shifts

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2-4 years of retail planning, demand planning analysis experience and developing customer/item level forecasts in a manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of retail/retail math and how it relates to the Supply Chain is required (Inventory turns, Sales trends, Stock to Sales ratio, Margins, etc.)
  • Excellent analytical aptitude with a proven ability to analyze/interpret data.
  • Advanced Microsoft excel user (pivot tables, lookups, report format creation, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of current pop culture is a big plus for this role.
