Job Summary:
  • Embark on an exciting journey as a Production Supervisor in the dynamic world of bread manufacturing. In this pivotal role, you'll orchestrate a team of skilled workers, ensuring the seamless operation of state-of-the-art machinery and the production of high-quality bread products that delight customers. Embrace the challenge of optimizing processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and driving operational excellence.

Job Duties:
  • Coordinate and plan weekly production schedules in collaboration with the Materials Management department, ensuring alignment with master scheduling and inventory policies.
  • Develop and manage employee schedules to meet production demands efficiently.
  • Establish and refine work procedures to achieve production targets and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer requirements are met on time.
  • Conduct quality inspections and measurements, ensuring products conform to specifications.
  • Train employees to identify and prevent the shipment of non-conforming products.
  • Troubleshoot product quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Optimize production methods, equipment performance, employee efficiency, and product quality through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Resolve employee issues or escalate unresolved matters to the Human Resources department.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Develop capital equipment justifications to enhance quality, cost-effectiveness, and cycle times.
  • Maintain accurate time and production records, documenting line inefficiencies and downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety protocols, and government regulations.
  • Actively participate in the production management team.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a bakery or food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical documents and write reports.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
