Columbia County Health System is bringing back Certified Nursing Assistant classes to Dayton, WA We have a part-time opportunity as a back-up for a Class Instructor who is responsible for teaching non-credit CNA courses with curriculum created by the Program Director for students pursuing the CNA Certification Exam. Each class will be a 6-7 week period in which you work with the Program Director and Human Resources to the structure setup and recruitment of students.

Compensation:

  • $33.35 - $48.04 per hour, depending on licensing and experience

What You Will Own in this Position

  • Provide student education on theory and practice of CNA theory and clinical components
  • Developing teaching and learning strategies that optimize student performance
  • Coordination of student learning, progress, and attendance during CNA courses

What You Bring to this Position

  • Desire to educate and share your knowledge for others looking to further their careers
  • Interpersonal skills to interact with and instruct different personality types
  • Self-motivation for the coordination of the CNA course for tasks that happen after, during, and after the course itself

To Be Successful

This position requires a current Washington State Registered Nursing license. You will have a minimum of 1 year of adult education, experience in a clinic or assisted living is a plus. Show us any of your leadership, clinical instruction, and program development
