Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPrinted Circuits Corp. is seeking a skilled Selective Soldering Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining selective soldering equipment to produce high-quality printed circuit boards (PCBs).

Responsibilities:

  • Setting up and operating selective soldering equipment, including machines, nozzles, and fixturing
  • Loading and unloading PCBs onto the selective soldering equipment
  • Conducting routine maintenance on selective soldering equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Inspecting and testing finished PCB assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Troubleshooting and resolving selective soldering equipment and process issues
  • Documenting production data, such as cycle times and process parameters
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes and resolve production issues
  • Following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure consistent, high-quality production
Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in selective soldering production and process control
  • Familiarity with selective soldering equipment, including machines, nozzles, and fixturing
  • Knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards for electronics assembly
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, process flow diagrams, and work instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and quality focus
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
