POSITION SUMMARY
Greenbox Self Storage is looking for a Floating Facility Manager. Our growing self storage business needs a motivated operator who is up to the challenge of being a 'floating' Manager to our four Self Storage locations Denver area, and RV & Boat location in Arvada.

A Facility Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our state of the art and environmentally conscious self storage facilities. This includes first class customer service, sales, and facility upkeep.

Greenbox Self Storage Rockstars are always up to the challenge in our fast-paced facilities, are customer service-oriented, passionate, energetic, take ownership of their work, and able multi-task. They are confident in their decision-making abilities and possess a real go-getter attitude.

WHAT THE TEAM NEEDS FROM YOU

  • Work independently on a property, working both indoors and outside managing daily office tasks, retail sales, and maintaining the facility. You Manage the Property
  • Willingness to work regular Saturdays
  • Willingness to work at all four of our Denver locations, and one Arvada location as needed. This is a non-negotiable.
  • Demonstrate leadership and accountability when operating our self storage facilities
  • Provide consistent, seamless, and high-quality guest experiences
  • Resolve customer issues and concerns in a timely, effective, and highly professional manner
  • Rent storage spaces and manage the leasing process
  • Understand key facility differentiators, create value, and optimize every conversion opportunity
  • Escalate property or customer issues for immediate resolution
  • Meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly KPIs
  • Take ownership of your store’s retail business
  • Utilize our Point of Sales system (POS) to take payments and manage customer accounts
  • Conduct daily storage unit inspections; confirm inventory availability and ensure spaces are ready to rent
  • Manage, audit, and prepare daily deposits
  • Perform light maintenance and janitorial duties
  • Pursue collections and manage auctions

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM

  • 2+ years of customer service and sales experience
  • 1+ years of self storage facility management a plus
  • Reliable transportation
  • Proficient in Office365 suite and using computers
  • Strong accountability and work ethic
  • Enthusiasm for teamwork and ability to work independently
  • Promote a team-first environment that values guest service
  • Problem solving aptitude and willingness to “figure it out”
  • Creative and resourceful attitude
  • Excellent sales, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
  • A flexible schedule - We are open every day except for Sunday’s and major holidays

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours/day;
  • Ability to work outdoors during all seasons
  • Able to bend, climb ladders and lift up to 30 pounds

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently required to walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit.
