Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot HVAC systems and equipment
• Diagnose and repair system issues
• Clean, adjust, and repair systems
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults
• Install system accessories such as thermostats, whole house air purifiers, and start assist
• Perform preventative equipment maintenance and warranty services as needed
• Identify maintenance risks on equipment
• Promote and offer system accessories and services that will help keep the systems in top working order
• Conduct performance tests and adjust systems settings accordingly
• Offer and promote the benefits system maintenance contracts to the homeowner
• Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment on the vehicles.

Job requirements

• HVAC Technician (EL06A in Washington, LEB in Oregon) with EPA Universal Certification
• Minimum of 10 years of previousHVAC Technician experience
• CFC universal qualification
• Ability to lift/move a minimum of 75 lbs
• Proficiency in using basic hand tools, meters, and hand-held electronic devices
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have an insurable driving record
• Clean driving record
• Successful completion of a clean background check
• Clear drug screen result
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
