ATC—Northwest is hiring multiple Caregivers (CGs) to join our team in Puyallup, Washington. 

$28/per hour for per diem/PRN shifts
Direct care of our client’s patients
Experience in rehabilitation centers, memory care, and long-term care assisted living

As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in our healthcare team by providing essential support and personal care to patients. You will assist individuals with their daily activities, monitor their health conditions, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment. This role requires compassion, patience, and a commitment to improving the quality of life for those in your care.

Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:

Assist with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Help patients with mobility, including transfers, walking, and use of wheelchairs or other assistive devices.
Monitor and record patients’ physical and mental conditions and report any changes to the nursing staff.
 

Daily Living Support:

Provide companionship and emotional support.
Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and dietary monitoring.
Support patients in managing their medication schedules and remind them to take them as directed.
Healthcare Support:

Record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration).
Assist in basic healthcare tasks as directed by healthcare professionals.
Transport patients to medical appointments or treatments as needed.
Documentation:

Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care, activities, and health status.
Document any incidents or changes in the patient's condition.
Safety and Compliance:

Ensure all care activities are conducted safely and in accordance with healthcare regulations.
Follow infection control procedures and maintain hygiene standards.
 

Qualifications:
Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Oregon Certification in caregiving or nursing assistance is mandatory.

Experience:

Minimum one year of experience as a caregiver.
Familiarity with basic medical terms and practices.

Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
First aid and CPR certification.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and supporting patients.
Capacity to work long hours and manage stress effectively.
Other Requirements:

A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
Willingness to undergo background checks, drug tests, TB tests, and other requirements per our company policy.
