Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be the face of our company, ensuring that customers have a positive shopping experience. You will handle all aspects of the checkout process, including scanning items, processing payments, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers as they enter and thank them as they leave.
  • Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions using the POS system.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, credits, and change to customers.
  • Answer customer inquiries and provide helpful information.
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
  • Balance the cash register at the end of the shift.
  • Follow all store policies and procedures regarding discounts, returns, and exchanges.
  • Assist in stocking shelves and organizing merchandise as needed.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
