Summary  
 
Panavision’s brand marketing team is seeking a Social Media Coordinator who will be an incredible resource to our team. The position will help implement B2B social marketing campaigns for our portfolio of brands on a global level.  This role will be responsible for collecting, curating, scheduling, and posting content (organic and paid) to social media accounts as well as engaging with the community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for film, television, technology, loves both social media & marketing, and is energetic, organized, enthusiastic, creative, and technologically savvy. The Social Media Coordinator will provide support for the Panavision Group brands - Panavision, Panalux, Light Iron and Island Studios.
 
 Responsibilities 
  • Collaborate with all Panavision Group brand social media leads to execute innovative organic social media brand marketing campaigns across all major platforms including Facebook, X, Instagram and LinkedIn for a variety of brands within the Panavision portfolio. 
  • Draft, schedule, publish social content in support of live events, product roll-outs and client/project promotions.
  • Demonstrate strong copywriting skills to craft posts in a tone consistent with our brand voice and company messaging.
  • Content creation tasks including video/stills capture, image design for use in social media, newsletters, etc. Video editing a plus.
  • Liaise with Creative and Copywriting teams as needed for higher tier design/copy requirements.
  • Execute brand engagement strategies through active campaign monitoring along with likes, reshares and comments to facilitate conversations with our audience.
  • Maintain social calendar using established tagging protocols, identifying gaps in messaging and post schedules as well as escalating potential conflicts to social leads.
  • Coordinate approval workflows including preview link sharing to relevant internal and external parties.
  • Follow social trends within the film industry and among competitor brands to identify opportunities for testing new tactics and platform functionality.
  • Source, upload, tag and name photo/video assets in a consistent manner from a variety of sources within and outside the organization.
  • Execute monthly project research tasks to curate ongoing list of company-supported productions and projects for socials and wider team needs. 
  • Execute paid social media to boost performance of priority content using Meta Business Manager.
  • Generate and send performance reports on regular basis. Build ad-hoc custom reporting as directed.
  • Support the social media leads with administrative tasks such as direct message handling, hashtag library maintenance, VIP lists, tracking key dates, crisis management and additional research tasks as needed.
  • Social media content capture and coverage of company-hosted events and trade shows as needed.
 
Qualifications: 
 
  • 2-3 years of experience in social media marketing & strategy. Knowledge of the pre, production and post production industry a STRONG plus, but a passion for the film and television industry is key.  
  • B2B social media marketing experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe CC creating/editing images & video (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) 
  • Experience with executing brand level and campaign/product level social media.
  • Familiarity with Meta Business Manager a strong plus.
  • Strong knowledge with audience targeting and platform self-service tools like Sprout Social.  
  • Collaborative & team oriented. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain efficiency under pressure.  
  • Ability to troubleshoot with a sense of urgency. 
  • Ability to take direction and implement feedback to achieve project objectives. 
  • Flexibility to work on several projects simultaneously with tight deadlines. 
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. 

This role will be required to work in an office setting on a hybrid basis.

Salary Range: $24.00 - $26.50 / Per Hour
