FP&A Sr. Analyst Role & Responsibilities

  • Financial Planning: Supporting the financial planning process, including annual budgets, forecasts, latest views, long-term strategic plans, and any financial projections.
  • Budgeting/Forecasting: Assisting functional & business heads to create budgets/forecasts that align with the company's strategic objectives. Monitoring actual performance against budgeted/forecasted targets. Preparing regular forecasts to predict future performance based on current trends and expected changes in the business environment.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyzing financial data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, patterns, and assist to improve cost efficiencies, resource allocation and profitability.
  • Business Performance Reporting: Providing timely and accurate financial reports and insights to senior management and stakeholders through presenting and dashboard deliverables. Implement the financial reporting calendar of Ampure globally.
  • Financial Modeling: Building and maintaining financial models to support scenario analysis, and investment decisions.
  • Risk Assessment: Assessing financial risks and opportunities and developing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Strategic Support: Collaborating with FP&A manager, CFO, and management to align financial planning with overall business objectives.
  • Financial Systems Management: Supporting the digital transformation of financial software and systems to ensure accurate and efficient financial reporting, planning and analysis.
  • Automation: Assisting the automation strategy across Finance to design, implement and continuously improve systems, processes, and governance across Finance
  • S&OP planning support: Supporting with insights on performance and to drive continuous improvements.
  • Data Visualization and Dashboarding: Organizing and presenting financial data using tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar. This will facilitate rapid and easy comprehension of the numbers in an intuitive manner.

FP&A Sr. Analyst Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE: A minimum of (2) years of relevant experience in financial planning & analysis with a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, engineering, data analysis or related discipline; ideally with manufacturing Finance experience. Strong excel experience and knowledge is required as is a history of interacting and utilizing SAP/Oracle or other financial reporting software data. Experience with creating and maintaining financial dashboards and data visualization tools (experience with relevant tools such PowerBI / Tableau is preferred).

SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of financial principles, accounting practices, and financial reporting standards.
  • Broad experience in developing budgets and forecasts, as well as monitoring and follow up incl. corrective actions on performance.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and scenario analysis in excel, ideally with Power BI or related dashboard software.
  • Demonstrated analytical abilities to facilitate rapid problem resolution in an agile and dynamic team environment.
  • An understanding of the company's industry and market dynamics
  • Proven experience with process improvement across Finance and other functions.
  • Excellent communication, oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a cross functional team, interacting with stakeholders from a number of different departments and at different levels.
