We are so excited to have this new division at Service Legends. We are looking for hard-working individuals that are ready to learn and grow within this position As a Plumbing Apprentice, we'll teach you all aspects of residential plumbing From service to installation, and everything in-between By the end of this four-year apprenticeship program, you'll be able to accurately diagnose plumbing problems, perform maintenance, install replacement solutions, and communicate with clients about the options and upgrades that increase safety and enhance the quality/health of life for homeowners. And best of all - you don't need any experience to get started
Essential Job Functions
- Complete plumbing, drain cleaning, and other related in-home, service calls
- Explain to the client what service you are performing and give exact prices & gain approval before doing the work
- Establish customer rapport to sell the right products and services for the client's needs and wants
- Educate and assist customers in choosing the best finance options and maintenance plans
- Explain the club memberships to the client, giving them an opportunity to join
- Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable to win new referrals and repeat business
- Maintain your truck so that it is always neat and clean, organized, and accurate inventoried t
- Work alongside Customer Service and Dispatch team to ensure overall success of the business
- Be accurate and timely with invoices, timecards, job notes, checklists, and option sheets
- Always be safety conscious both on the job and while driving
- Drive company vehicle to and from each assigned job
- Participate actively in all training exercises and morning meetings

Minimum Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic mechanical aptitude
- The ability to use various hand and power tools common to trade
- The ability to learn through observation and hands on experience
- The ability to follow routine, verbal, and written instructions
- The ability to communicate with team members and customers effectively
- Being capable of maintaining professional working relationships with team members
- The ability to understand, analyze, interpret, and implement ideas contained in technical documents, reports, regulations, etc.
- Mental Demands: Must be able to perceive and distinguish emotions, as well as deal with adversarial confrontations. Requires an ability to concentrate and prioritize multiple tasks at once. Conscious attention to detail is required to safely perform tasks.
- Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have the ability to accurately record progress, notes, and instructions in software; utilizing an iPad
- Communication Skills: Ability to establish customer rapport. Show high integrity with advanced social skills and make solid connections with team members and clients

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 150 pounds. The employee must be comfortable working in tight spaces for an extended period of time. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; outside weather conditions and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Preferred Job Qualifications
- 1 year of face-to-face customer service experience
- Excellent, communication, and negotiation skills
Compensation
- Starting wage of $16.50 - $33.00 per hour (based on experience) + Bonus/Incentives
- Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (flexible start and end times based upon business needs)
- Days: Monday - Friday (Occasional Weekends and after-hours)
