Moses Lake, United States National Association of State Departments of Agriculture Full time
Job DescriptionJob Description

The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) is hiring part-time field enumerators to conduct surveys with farmers and ranchers in your area. This job is great for a self-starter, someone who can manage their own time, workload and be flexible. Surveys are conducted by phone and in person, although current COVID restrictions limit face-to-face contacts. Applicants with good people skills and a friendly attitude will be more successful. Prior experience in telemarketing or US Census work is helpful.

Your working area will be primarily in Central Washington State in Grant and Adams Counties for in-person surveys, a good driving record is necessary and a dependable auto are a must. You will be required to occasionally attend workshops for different surveys. Travel time, accommodations, and mileage (at the current IRS rate of 62.5 cents per mile) will be paid or reimbursed. Most surveys are voluntary for the operator. You are not selling anything, but rejection is part of this job. Work assignments are detail oriented and may be intermittent. We are looking for people who are available to work as needed. A valid Driver's License is required. Computer skills, a friendly demeanor, and a positive attitude are necessary.
