Pre-Delivery and Accessory Technician As a Pre-Delivery and Accessory Technician at Krieger Ford, you play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive their new vehicles in excellent condition, fully equipped with the requested accessories and features. Your attention to detail, technical expertise, and commitment to quality will contribute to the exceptional customer experience we are known for. Key Responsibilities: Vehicle Inspection and Preparation: Inspect new vehicles to ensure they meet the highest quality standards before delivery. Perform pre-delivery inspections, checking for any defects, damage, or imperfections. Verify that all vehicle systems, components, and features are functioning correctly. Accessory Installation: Install customer-requested accessories and aftermarket enhancements with precision and care. Ensure all accessories are securely mounted, aligned, and properly wired. Test accessories to confirm their proper functioning and integration with the vehicle's systems. Quality Assurance: Uphold strict quality control standards throughout the pre-delivery and accessory installation process. Address any issues promptly, ensuring that all vehicles leaving the dealership are in top condition. Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each vehicle. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer accessory requests and preferences. Coordinate with other departments, such as the sales and service teams, to meet customer expectations and delivery timelines.. Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and dealership policies to ensure a safe working environment. Stay updated on industry trends, manufacturer specifications, and technological advancements related to vehicle accessories and installations. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience as an automotive technician or in a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of automotive systems, accessories, and installation techniques. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
