Job Description:

The Framing Estimator will be an integral part of our preconstruction team, focusing on estimating and creating accurate lumber lists. This role offers the potential for growth into project management responsibilities.

Key duties include:

• Estimating material requirements and costs for framing projects.
• Creating detailed and accurate lumber lists for construction projects.
• Collaborating with the construction team to ensure material estimates align with project plans.
• Utilizing software tools such as AutoCAD, Planswift, and Bluebeam for drafting and estimation.
• Participating in project planning and preconstruction meetings.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technical developments.

Qualifications:

• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Planswift, and Bluebeam.
• Entry-level candidates should have experience with these software tools, either through educational projects or practical application in the field.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a willingness to learn.
