Behavior Technician
Duties:
- Implement individualized treatment plans for children with developmental disabilities, such as autism, under the supervision of a Licensed Qualified Service Provider
- Provide direct one-on-one behavioral therapy to clients in various settings, including home, school, and community
- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior using established methods and tools
- Assist with the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to ensure consistent and effective treatment strategies
- Support clients in acquiring new skills and reducing challenging behaviors through positive reinforcement and behavior modification techniques
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs or developmental disabilities
- Knowledge of special education principles and practices
- Familiarity with applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
- Ability to collect and analyze data to track client progress
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
