We are seeking a Manual Machinist to join our team You will operate and repair a variety of machines and mechanical instruments.

Responsibilities:

• Operate machine tools (engine lathe, surface grinder etc) to produce precision parts ( typ .005")
• Follow shop procedures and safety protocol
• Ability to read and make parts from print
• Test completed parts to detect and correct tolerance
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery
• Calculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in machinery or other related fields
• Familiarity machine tools and equipment
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Strong attention to detail

Shop hours are 7am-3:30 pm M-F

NOTE** we are not a CNC shop; machinists must know how to turn & read dials, read paper blueprints, take up backlash etc

Any new hires do go through a probationary period, typically  60days. Once this is completed, the benefit package would begin.

Compensation is $15 to DOE, please have manual machining experience if you apply
