About the job:
This position is responsible for setting up dies and operation of various metal stamping presses. It will be necessary to troubleshoot and adjust the press and tooling, material loading/unloading, maintenance of press, use of measuring equipment and recording of data. The position requires the ability to modify mechanical components or assemblies for products, such as industrial equipment and machinery, power equipment, machine tools, and measuring instruments. It is necessary to be able to set-up and conduct tests of the completed units and components under operational conditions. Must be capable of providing investigative proposals for improving equipment performance or other factors to improve the manufacturing efforts.
Required:
- HS diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years of metal forming experience in machining / manufacturing environment.
- Must demonstrate the capability to develop a good technical understanding of our process and competencies.
- Must know how to read blueprints and understand other technical instructions/ requirements.
- Comfortable with working with both engineering and quality team departments.
- Prior experience in medical, aerospace, battery and military markets is preferred
- Solid English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Metal forming experience is a plus.
