Position Overview: As a CT Tech, you will operate computed tomography equipment to produce diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort. You will conduct technical procedures using ionizing radiation and work independently with initiative and skill. This role involves working with patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT equipment and position patients for imaging.
  • Perform and document technical procedures using ionizing radiation.
  • Prioritize patient care and safety, delivering high-quality imaging.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: One year of CT experience preferred; acute care experience is not required.
  • Licensure/Certification:
    • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
    • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) & (CT) preferred.
    • Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist.
  • Education: Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology School.
