Job Summary:

The CNC Programmer will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling, and turning.
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine the appropriate machining operations.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and accuracy of produced parts.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machines.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize production processes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years experience writing CNC programs in a machining environment.
• Strong understanding of CNC programming and machine operations.
• Demonstrates proficiency with CAD (CATIA), CAM software and G-code.
• Experience with any CAD System, not limited to CATIA only: Mastercam, GibbsCam is acceptable.
• Experience in using Vericut is a plus.
• Proficient with GD&T.
• Experience writing post processors is a plus.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools: Excel, Power Point
