Job DescriptionJob Description

Nationwide Construction is looking for an experienced CAD detailer to join its Structural Steel fabrication department in Mansfield, TX. This position will be responsible for detailed steel fabrication drawings including part details, assemblies, and erection plans. The detailer will also be responsible for creating a detailed bill of materials for purchase orders and assisting production coordination with the shop foreman.

 

Responsibilities/Skills:

-Create accurate and timely detailed shop and erection drawings for structural and miscellaneous steel projects

- AutoCAD

- Minimum 7 years experience with Auto CAD

- Minimum 4 years experience producing Steel Fabrication drawings

- Computer skills and in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows-based programs are required.

- Exceptional attention to detail is required.

- Requires a strong ability to multi-task and flexibility to learn and accept other duties.

- Candidate must possess strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, as well as initiative and the ability to delegate decision-making and other responsibilities. Ability to handle multiple time-sensitive projects and issues. Must work well under pressure.

- High level of energy and motivation.

- Must possess the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel, both hourly and management, in a team environment.
