Job DescriptionJob Description

An industry leading manufacturer is looking for a growth-oriented Buyer to join their team of professionals near Wilmar, MN. They offer a competitive compensation and benefits package that includes dental, vision, 100% paid life insurance, and two medical plan options including company provided disability. In addition, they offer a 401k that is matched up to 5% deferred and 100% vested immediately upon participation.

This position is also BONUS eligible.
Responsibilities:

*Planning and purchasing assigned products that are sold with our manufactured products.
*Forecasting demand and maintaining levels according to forecasted sales.
*Negotiating & managing vendor relationships, terms & contracts including sourcing & setting up new vendors
*Demonstrate commitment to high personal & professional ethical standards

Qualifications:

*Education equivalent to an associate degree and a minimum of three years of purchasing experience in manufacturing. Required
* Proficient with MS Office products and mainframe ERP systems such as IQMS, Microsoft D365. required
* Strong influencing skills with the ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of the organization. Required
* Honest and fiscally responsible with proven negotiation skills. required
