Vocational Counselor - Rohnert Park, CA

North Bay Industries is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide vocational training and employment to adults with disabilities. In addition, our licensed activity day program offers a wide variety of education, recreational, community access, and some work opportunities.

Job Description: Overall responsibility and support of an assigned caseload of clients (adults with disabilities) receiving rehabilitation services at various job sites. Essential duties include:

  • Ensure client training is professionally administered in accordance with NBI policies.
  • Provide on-the-job support to enhance client productivity and maximum scheduled work hours.
  • Conduct individual short-term counseling sessions as required.
  • Provide a positive relationship and a consistent role model for all clients (and their support system).
  • Prepare various progress reports.
  • Provide coverage for job sites as needed.

Requirements: Must pass a drug test, physical, and E-verify. The candidate must be fingerprinted and have TB clearance.

Previous related work experience is highly preferred.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm.

Compensation: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour, depending on experience. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Vacation, and Sick time.
