Truckload Broker / Freight Brokerage

Large third-party logistics company seeks a Truckload Broker to coordinate the efficient transport of goods by communicating with partner carriers. We have positions available in both Los Angeles and Eastvale, CA.

$$ EARN $20 - $25 AN HOUR $$

This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position where you will work Monday through Friday, on the day shift, and be eligible for company benefits upon direct hire. Plus, you will have access to free onsite parking, a lunchroom with a microwave and refrigerator, and paid sick time off.

Your responsibilities as a Truckload Broker include developing and maintaining new and existing relationships with partner carriers. You will also be expected to:

• Build carrier profiles for specific lane by mode and commodity coverage.
• Negotiate pricing with carriers.
• Post incoming loads on various boards and update the call-in screen.
• Contact carriers to cover loads in a timely manner.
• Assist Agents with pricing and service levels, as needed.

To qualify for this position, you must have at least 2 years of related broker experience, a bachelor’s degree, experience using McLeod software systems, and:

• Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Be familiar with hazardous material handling and quality improvement standards.
• Have a strong working knowledge of U.S geography and be able to read maps.
• Experience using Systems Applications and Products (SAP) or other ERP is preferred, but not required.
• The ability to speak both English and Spanish is preferred, but not required.
