Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for CT or X-rays by explaining procedures, positioning patients correctly, and ensuring patient comfort.
  • Operate CT and X-ray equipment to capture diagnostic images according to physician orders.
  • Consult with physicians and other medical professionals on appropriate imaging techniques and findings.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of patients during CT or X-ray procedures, following proper radiation safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient exams and results.
  • Assist with the maintenance and calibration of CT and X-ray equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, answering any questions or concerns they may have during their visit.

Requirements

  • Certified CT Tech with a minimum of 1 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of CT and radiographic techniques, including anatomy and positioning.
  • Proficient in operating digital CT and X-ray equipment and imaging software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to upholding patient confidentiality and privacy guidelines.
