Job DescriptionJob Description

Aquos Restoration is a Water, Fire, and Mold Mitigation company based in Stafford Texas. As a Mitigation Technician you will be working with drying equipment, as well as chemicals and solvents. This may be in tight spaces such as attics or crawl spaces. After a disaster we work with our clients to get their home back together so they can get back to living.

What you will be doing:

  • Communicate with the commercial/residential owner(s) to complete the service contract.

  • Assist with the jobsite inspection to determine the scope of work.

  • Remove and dispose of non-salvageable items, as well as demolition of damaged materials.

  • Prepare any and all documentation pertaining to the loss, including, but not limited to pictures, contracts, daily reports, sketches and dimensions.

  • Set up, operate, move, and maintain the drying equipment.

  • Keep the vehicle clean and stocked with the appropriate tools to get the job done.

What we expect you to have:

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.

  • Be currently in the industry with 2-3 years of experience.

  • Possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

  • Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces, sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time, repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects, work with/around cleaning products/chemicals.

  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs regularly, up to 100lbs with assistance.

  • Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law.

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

  • IICRC Certification(s) are preferred.

  • Mold Worker License is preferred.

  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
