Position: Shift Supervisor

Reports To: Production Manager

Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly

Position Summary: As Lamination Supervisor you will learn the use of the Summit Traveler work order and tool number system. Lamination of all rigid, rigid flex and flex panels concerning the daily priority list from production control. Ordering all materials and the fabrication of materials for the work orders to be processed. Daily inspection of all equipment in the department. Reviewing the lamination stack up, working with Engineering if any changes are made for future builds. Checking that all required materials are in place for lamination personnel to expedite the work orders in the department.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a minimum of four (4) years’ experience in the printed circuit board industry and must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

Required Skills:

Responsibilities:

  1. Supervisor of Lamination Department personnel.
  2. Lamination of all rigid panels, rigid flex and flex panels; insures quality.
  3. Performs other department or company-related tasks at the direction of the Production Manager.

Education / Experience:

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
  2. Minimum four (4) years’ industry experience.
  3. Ability to communicate with all levels within the company.
  4. Basic mathematical and reasoning ability required.

Physical Demands:

  1. This position requires the individual to perform for the entire shift while standing, sitting or walking.
  2. Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
  3. Must have very good concentration.
  4. Must be able remain focused with minor interruptions.
