Dentist, DDS, DMD

Position Summary: Deliver comprehensive dental care to diverse patients with professionalism and compassion. Focus on preventative, restorative, pediatric, periodontal, endodontic, surgical, and prosthetic procedures. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in community outreach.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive dental care including preventative, restorative, surgical, and prosthetic procedures.
  • Maintain detailed patient records and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Maintain productivity standards and assist with appointment scheduling.
  • Conduct dental screenings and provide oral hygiene instruction at community events.
  • Collaborate with internal and external specialists and dental laboratories.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.

Compliance:

  • Adhere to health center's Exposure Control Plan and HIPAA policies.
  • Maintain professionalism and uphold organizational mission and goals.

Education/License/Certificate Required:

  • DDS or DMD degree from CODA-accredited program.
  • NYS dental license, DEA registration, BLS certification.
  • Medicaid-enrolled provider with mandated continuing education.
  • Proficiency in all listed dental procedures.
  • Minimum one year clinical experience, preferably in community health.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in diverse cultural settings preferred.
