Job DescriptionJob Description

The Software Training Manager is responsible for managing the client's training initiatives for a large enterprise-wide custom software solution.  The Software Training Manager will be responsible for working with a small team to create all the training manuals, curriculum, web/video tools, and assessments.  Additionally, the Training Manager will provide Train the Trainer style training to the client and/or end-user training for this custom software solution.

Responsibilities:

· Defining and determining the best approach and methods to achieve training objectives.

· Absorbing and interpreting diverse material to organize, condense, and document/write the results for a diverse user base.

· Exploring and learning new tools, though the company may also utilize tools the candidate is familiar with.

· Create video and online training tools.

· Involved with the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of training materials used for various Program Offices for state government.

· Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate and up-to-date.

· Deliver training programs in a variety of formats, including classroom, virtual, and e-learning.

· Conducts follow-up studies of all completed training to evaluate and measure results.

Experience Required:

· Bachelor's degree in Training and Development, Education, or a related field is preferred. Master's degree is a plus.

· 5+ years previous experience working on software solution projects or IT consulting implementations.

· Strong time management skills and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

· Proficiency in measuring and analyzing the impact of training initiatives, including ROI.

· Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

· Collaborative mindset, working effectively with team members, SMEs, and stakeholders.

· 7+ years of experience in creating Training Manuals, Training Curriculum and Training Assessments.

· Experience with Train The Trainer Programs or Initiatives a plus.

· 5+ years experience in Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC) projects.

· Experience in Case Management software solutions is beneficial.

· 5+ years experience providing Software Solution Training to end users.

· Experience in Organizational Change Management or certified as an Organizational Change Manager (OCM) is beneficial.
