MRI Tech must be able to operate imaging equipment while caring for a diverse background of patients.

Responsibilities:

  • taking patient medical histories
  • answering questions about procedures
  • positioning patients according to established protocols
  • adjusting equipment as needed to produce high-quality images
  • evaluate images to make sure they meet ordering provider's requirements

Skills & Qualifications:

  • operating MRI machines, computers and other high-tech equipment
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • strong attention to detail, particularly when reviewing orders & following MRI protocols

Experience Requirements:

  • 2 years working directly as a MRI Tech
  • 2 year degree in MRI Technology
  • R.T. (MR)(ARRT) credentials
